The Raven Beard Oil by Weirdy Beardy “makes facial hair delectable, from stubble to a full on majestic beard.”
Weirdy Beardy promise to “rid your face of the dreaded beard itch by conditioning the skin and softening your beard.” Their small range of hand mixed beard care products features The Raven as their premium offer.
Staying true to the look and feel of their branding and hand crafted nature, Weirdy Beardy present The Raven Beard Oil in a hand wrapped and tied package. Vintage style brown paper, adorning a hand stamped version of their logo is bound by a neatly tied twine bow.
Beneath the humble yet quirky outer layer is a generous lashing of bubble wrap to protect your investment. As many of you may have experienced already, a product’s journey to your door step can get pretty hairy, so the extra insurance is a nice touch.
Unveiling The Raven Beard Oil, you’re met with a premium quality, 50mL brown bottle and the timeless design of the Weirdy Beardy brand. A robust dropper is firmly fixed in place by an unbroken seal, the entire assembly feels sturdy and durable. I often worry about the lifespan of the rubber bulbs on this style of dropper, but after some thorough road testing I am still confident that I’ll be avoiding an oil spill.
It’s nice to see some basic instructions included on the packaging, but if you’re after some more detail, be sure to check out our post on how to properly apply beard oil.
One thing that really stands out with Weirdy Beardy products is the thought that has gone into their branding. “Made by a man with a beard” is a quirky little inclusion, especially paired with the ‘weirdy beardy’ character. You’ll also notice a long list of ingredients, so let’s get into the nitty gritty.

Considering our beards are right under our noses, scent is obviously an important factor when choosing a beard oil. The Raven’s scent is comparable to a classic, quality cologne. Whilst being quite bold and refined it’s also pleasantly refreshing.
Weirdy Beardy The Raven Beard Oil Review Verdict
When it comes to delivering on their promise, I’m pleased to say that they most definitely have. The extreme heat and humidity we have been experiencing in Queensland during an unrelenting summer has resulted in a number of skin related issues. As quite a hairy man, it’s the areas of thickest coverage that first fall victim to irritation and inflammation – the dreaded beard itch’s best friend.
After only using the product for a few days I’m already seeing great results, my beard is velvety smooth and the underlying skin irritation has settled. Although I usually prefer a woody scent, the more exotic aroma of The Raven has grown on me. Probably a result of the extra compliments I’ve been receiving – looks like Weirdy Beardy have done well in creating a nice balance of floral, fruity and classic scents.
